FAQs

  • We ask that you register your interest via the webpage link. From March 2021, we will set up a series of meetings: 

    Get to know you - A session where we get an understanding of your business and ambitions, and you can ask any questions you have about the project. 

    2. Your needs  - We discuss your business requirements for your space. We will think about location in the scheme and how we can explore synergies with other prospects or traders. 

    3. Signing up  - At this stage we will send you all the formal documentation (T&Cs, licence/ contract). 

  • The site is a stone’s throw away from Alperton and Wembley Central station. There are train, tube and bus services locally. We will be encouraging cycling and walking to the scheme. There is meter parking available on Ealing Road. 

  • Footfall is generated from site marketing and the collective marketing of the traders. Ealing Road is one of the busiest roads in Greater London with peak time footfall of over 8000 people per hour, Before Covid (BC). 

  • Everyone is on a equal playing field here, so we expect a minimum year commitment from our traders, one month deposit and a three month notice period. 

  • Yes, you can dress the inside of your frontage. External signage is provided by V&V and is standardised for brand alignment and fairness.

  • Only one business can sign up to the license terms and will be responsible for the rent. No sub- letting will be allowed. 

  • Your internal space is your own blank canvas. 

  • We have CCTV, access control for after-hours scheme entry and other security measures to ensure you and your business are safe and secure 24x7. On the ground floor, we have a time-activated shutter. 

  • Your monthly fee is inclusive of: 

    Your space Security

    Utilities (limited usage) Service charges

    Communal facilities i.e. WCs

    Marketing support sessions

    Business support sessions 

  • Buildings insurance is our responsibility. 

    Contents insurance is your responsibility. 

  • Yes, we provide telecoms infrastructure 

    – data usage is the responsibility of tenants. 

  • 7am to 11pm – Tuesday to Saturday (subject to change)

    9am to 10pm - Sundays and Bank Holidays

    The scheme will be closed on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.

  • The site will be cleaned daily and we will have a full-time site manager to oversee the site. 

  • We plan to have regular events throughout the year. These will involve the local community, businesses, other local businesses and schools in the community. Events will include food, music, product launches, and fund-raising. 

    London Borough of Culture 2020 has also been delayed until 2021. This will provide exciting opportunities for everyone. We are working closely with the Brent team to align events and explore ideas along Ealing Road with the local community and businesses. 

  • The WiFi is open and not encrypted. Internet security is the responsibility of users. 

  • Yes, these facilities are available for use by all traders with access fobs and for use by your customers under access codes.
